Hi! My name is Michelle Rhodes. I'm an Animal Naturopath in West Michigan and live on a small hobby farm in Lowell with my husband, son, and two (very large) Maine Coon cats. In the fall of 2016 we made the leap and decided it was time to move to the country and start living the life that we are so passionate about. This year that means hundreds of hours preparing the land, starting a small flock of chickens, and establishing 3 bee hives!
I began working towards my Doctorate in Animal Naturopathic Health Sciences at the Kingdom College of Natural Health in 2013 after experiencing my own profound healing with a Naturopath in Grand Rapids. I grew up on a small farm with a rotating cast of animals - horses, pigs, goats, guinea pigs, cats, dogs, and even a love bird. I have always been passionate about animals and had often been frustrated when conventional veterinary medicine didn't have the answers to some of my animals nagging health and behavior issues. Often, I would stumble across a solution that finally worked after hours of research online, in books, and from farmers who practiced their own tried and true methods.

Whisker Wellness is committed to helping animal guardians as they care for their pets at whatever life stage they may be in.
